The fundamental principle behind East Kilbride Men’s Shed is a community space for people to socialise together. It is designed to ensure, and help, the mental well-being of all members and guests.
As you can imagine, it takes several thousand pounds to keep the Shed running each year, and as a non profit organisation we are always looking for ways to generate income to keep the doors open and support the members and local community.
You can help to support the Shed in several ways:
Please contact us using the form on our Contact page, or the details below, to find out how you can support the Shed with Donations and Sponsorship.
Donations of products and tools/equipment, or pre-loved items, make a real difference to not-for-profit community groups like the East Kilbride Mens Shed. Please contact us using the form on our Contact page, or the details below, to find out what items we can accept and how we could re-purpose those items for use in the Shed, or to contribute towards our running costs.
Following a successful night consisting of a hand tool demonstration and a hammer and nail task, the West Kirk Brownies made a kind donation of £100 to the EK Shed.
The East Kilbride Mens Shed received a kind donation of £250 from Bayne’s Charitable Trust.
