Several members of the Shed enjoyed a Comedy night out in the East Kilbride Sports club, in Calderglen park.
As Tesco were upgrading the car park outside thier store, where our wood container was located, we had to temporarily relocate it behind the Shed.
Many thanks and much appreciation to Tesco for moving the contaiiner on our behalf.
The Shed were absolutely delighted to receive a cheque for £1000 from Tommy Mitchell, representing the Rolls Royce Union members. A massive thank you from our members to your members for this very generous donation, which will add significantly to our funds and allow us to continue in existence.

The Mens Shed were delighted to be asked to provide K-Woodlands with their Free Little Libraries, One for kids and One for teens and adults.
The libraries will work on an honesty basis and K-Woodlands hope that these will get as many people as possible back into reading.

Many of our members attended an excellent presentation by Prostate Scotland. The presentation was very informative and struck a chord with many of our members.
The key takeaway message gents, is get yourself checked, ask your doctor for a PSA test, it might just save your life.
Many of our members have been busy throughout the month of February making various Easter related craft products to stock in our Shop for our forthcoming Open day on Saturday 15th March 2025.
The Shed were delighted to be asked to assist the East Kilbride Brownies with a hand-tools demonstration. Following the demonstration, the brownies were given the task of hammering nails into blocks of wood to make a heart shape, in preparation for some valentine's day craft work.
On Thursday 30th January we will be opening our doors to ALL members of the community to join us for an informal coffee and chat session.
